Nathan, 251E is a Keil number, crosses to 1248 Old Ilco and 2790C Graham all of which are obsolete. Old Ilco 1248 and 1248S are both .335" x .050" but the former is steel while the later is nickel silver. Thus we now have three more possibilities for that old Sargent push padlock blank.

Thank you all for your input.
I was thinking that it might come down to making my own key blank.
Just need to find a satisfactory blank to start with.

I received the key that you sent in the mail yesterday.
    Thank you very much.
Made a key for one of the five pin sargent locks.
There is almost no cut on the 5th pin.
Needed to make the modifications that you suggested and the new key works well.

Timothy, note that I said Old Ilco, can be found in:
    1. 1950 Ilco Cat. 13G, Pg. 30
    2. 1949 Ilco Cat. 12B, Pg. 30
    3. 1947 Ilco Cat. 12A, Pg. 29
    4. 1941 Ilco Cat. 12, Pg. 163
    5. 1936 Ilco Cat. 11, Pg. 64
    6. 1932 Ilco Cat. 10, Pg. 56
    7. 1930 Ilco Cat. 9, Pg. 43

In 1941 the net price was $4.80 per gross.
