A few Dollars for Django. Spaghetti western from 1966. About 4 minutes into the movie.

Bramah lock and a four dial combination lock?

Looks classic French, a lot of makers made that style, if you do an Internet search for 'coffre fort ancien' you'll see loads of them.
It's unlikely a Bramah lock, more likely one of the typical French star profiled keys like Fichet's or Bauche's which operate a similar type of lock cylinder but have radial 'levers' instead of slides.

The Million Dollar Bond Robbery included two quick scenes with a minor vault, both darkly lit. Nothing exciting happens, nobody is locked in; the bonds are moved into a case for transport. Here are some stills from the first scene --

    Default Old movie and safe

    Hi Gents,

This old 1956 English movie was rather well put together, good plot and the safe actually looks genuine, although given the plot on the film it had to be false for very good reasons.

But if it was a mock up, well, you can see the double row of bolt sockets on the frame, but if you catch the clip in the right place and pause it, the bolts show on the door too, and it is so brief no normal movie watcher would even notice. This means they went to a lot of trouble for no good reason it would seem.

    Any thoughts anyone????

In "The Amazing Transparent Man", at about 35 minutes in there is a vault door and two more at about 43 minutes.

    Default Movie: Finding Steve McQueen

On March 15 2019 a movie called "Finding Steve McQueen" was released. It covers the 1972 burglary of the United California Bank in Laguna Niguel, California. They were trying to find Richard Nixon's stash of illegal contributions.

The movie trailer does not clearly show the vault door. If I get a chance to watch this I'll report on it.

    Default Movie: Vault

A movie called simply Vault was released June 20 2019. It deals with a 1975 robbery of a safe deposit vault inside Hudson Fur & Leather Center in Providence, Rhode Island, which was used by the Mafia. The actual vault door was a modest Mosler door:

In the movie they have substituted the Industrial Trust Building (also called the "Superman" building), here are stills from the trailer:

I have not seen this movie but will report on it if I do.
