    Default Chatwood wallsafe/locker lock

The lock says 'Made in Switzerland'; the key which came with it is marked 'Chatwood'. The lock looks very similar to some Kromer wallsafe locks, including provision (not used onin this lock) for 3-point moving bolts.
The pressed steel case looks to me much newer than 1870s. That is all I can say.
