I wanted to share a couple of picture of this beautiful old Imperial Russian Trick Padlock. The padlock is in very nice shape and is signed by master NIKOLAI AKIFYEV. Any additional info about this locksmith would be greatly appreciated. I could see similar padlock on s-a-w.net website but the operating mechanism for this one is somewhat different. As you can see the lock has a small slider on the side that covers the pin. The slider needs to be open for the pin to come out when you turn the key otherwise you will not be able to open the lock. It is really hard to figure out the slider idea because the slider looks exactly the same as the other side of lock.
