I recently acquired a J. B. Miller Keyless Lock Co. combination lock as described in the 8th row of list here. My lock is in much nicer condition than the one pictured in the link:

http://www.antique-padlocks.com/comb_1dial_g-z.htm

Accord to the link:

"J. B. M. K. L. CO. KENT. O.".
Steel case. Steel shackle. Steel dial.
Face of lock has no numbers.
Code:
To open the lock:

  1. Set dial at the 12 o'clock position,
  2. Then turn the dial 7 clicks to the right,
  3. Then 5 clicks to the left,
  4. Then 3 clicks to the right,
  5. Then 4 clicks to the left.
Mfg by: J. B. Miller Keyless Lock Co.

I've tried this several times but it does not work. The lock appears to b4e in otherwise excellent condition - i.e. I don't believe the insides are gunked up. Thoughts?
