Corbin Cabinet Lock

I piled up a small chest over the weekend that had a Corbin Cabinet lock. I have never seen this model or style before. Looks like brass. Anyone have an info on this lock?

1:30 - 4:00 Researching Chubb – from that moment the first lock, patented in 1818 by Jerimiah Chubb, the company as well as the people involved is full of twists and turns, adventure and intrigue, emotion and passion and all set against a backdrop of world events… We start to put together the definitive story starting our first Group project.
There is allways time after a meeting for further socialising & networking.

I have a lock from the same system. Quite sure these are ex museum show case locks and were made by Chubb to match existing Hobbs keys as the design is a Hobbs one not Chubb.
