    Default Vintage safe

    Hi all!

I'm new to the site and really pleased I've found a site where I can share my (some might say odd) interest with like minded people.

I have no idea where my interest in safes came from. Although I got my hands on a Samuel Withers 12 bend last year and restored it. I didn't want to take all the original paint off, but it had so little left on it and in such a poor state I made the decision to match the colour to British standard colour chips and have paint made up. The photos don't do the colours justice. I left some original paint on the inside, as I like the authentic and original features where possible. Really pleased with it sitting in my front room for all to admire! Any comments welcome. Any ideas what year it is?

(Sorry I don't know how to rotate the photos)
