Eagle Lock Co. key identification

I pulled this out of a fish bowl of keys at the local swap mart. With that many numbers and letters stamped on the side, I would guess there was a large quantity of them made. I've just not come across one before. It's 2 11/16th's in length, 1 3/4" from tip of nose to upper notch. My best guess is a safe deposit box lock, I would enjoy a yeah or nay confirmation on that from anyone who would like to. Thanks - Bill
