    Default British Make 1914

These pages are from a January 1914 British Make catalogue, they are photocopies of photocopies that I was given 15 years ago. Even though they are a bit poor there is content enough to gain valuable and interesting information.

I would love to have a copy of the original or to at least seen the original.

These are all that I have, I hope they may be of interest.

A very interesting document, the thought occurs and is confirmed by the Evans Gazetteer that the range is so large it would have been hard for one copy to produce, and this indeed seems to be the case that they made their own locks but also supplied locks from many other makers as wholesalers.

I am sure I have seen that trade mark in the past and never knew who it was for, plus locks of various patterns as shown in these pages.
