For Sale: Large Collection of Vintage Locks & Keys
My neighbor has collected old padlocks, keys, medallions and many other interesting items for over 50 years, many locks date from the 1800s. Over 200 padlocks: Railroad, Winchester, U.S. Navy, Army, letter box, mail, W.B., Fort Smith, Keen Cutter, Safe 6 and 8 lever. Hundreds of very old keys: Switch, watch, 4-way, prison keys from different states: Alcatraz, Rahway, etc. Many old key chains with medallions: Marlboro, Jim Bean, Mickey Mouse, NRA, etc. All are in excellent condition, no junk.
This Collection is located is Central Florida, about 35 miles NW of Orlando.
He will only sell the complete collection, not individual pieces
He does not have Internet access, so I will pass questions on to him, and then post the replies here.
We are planning to advertise this collection on CraigsList, and possibly list it on eBay . . . however, we would appreciate any ideas for other ways to liquidate this interesting and unusually large collection.
