Default Trying to indentify an old lock & key

I found this lock in an old shed on some property I bought last week. It had the key in it, and it still seems to operate properly. I'm curious if anyone might be able to identify it. As you can see in the picture, it has the word "RUPAR" stamped in the front. I've spent a little time on the net trying to find info on it, but I haven't had any luck.

    Thanks!!

Quite modern, almost certainly made in India.
