22,000 views and nothing? Do I get the impression that French locks are of no interest at all to the English speaking collectors?

Your probably up against a language issue, and with the lock not being one of the tier 1 makers such a Bauche it's going to be hard to ID. Also the view count is going to include search engines etc, not just humans ...

Hiya Doug, probably just a lack of knowledge on that lock, look up forum serrurier.info, don't think I am allowed to put up a link, not the most friendly place if you are not a French speaker, and google translate doesn't seem to work for them and just annoys them, but there is a lot of knowledge on there, so may be worth a short post with photos

Not lack of interest surely, but many on here know less about non-British and non-US locks, and least about locks from non-english-speaking countries; but there are some European lock enthusiasts who come here sometimes.
