    Default Is this the future?

Just arrived from Spain, the Ultimate Security Handcuff. Made in a high grade plastic and available in either Chain Link of Folding Pattern. They take a standard handcuff key and the double lock is activated by pressing the orange button.
So interesting design however they cost £130 each! This compares with about £25 to £35 for most swinging bow handcuffs made by TCH, Peerless or ASP.

    Default platic cuffs

Presumably light weight, but more difficult to recycle than metal. Not good for the future.

They look more like practice or training cuffs. I honestly don't think they'd get approved for field use for various reasons.
