    came across this safeman, can't remember a Chubb challenger model. 1984.

    That makes two of us Gary. Shows what an effective News Gathering Department Chubb had and what a bad memory I have. So I had a mole too?

ID:	23305 I do remember how Chubb were sneered at for getting these from Japan. Beginning of the end I fear for 'REAL' safes. Insurers must take the blame.

    Must have eviscerated itself out of shame.

    Thanks anyway Gary. Reminds me that was when I was moved down from Fishers in Glasgow. If only I'd had the foresight to collect stuff as you have before then.

    yes I saw that modern foreign market challenger, but that is much later than 1984,could be they just marketed it under a different name

    going through some more old brochures and literature, a lot of it is standard stuff, but still interesting to see what chubb were doing in the 60s and onwards

    not sure with that one as no date on the brochure that I can see. there is a nat west bank in Grimsby I think that has historical info on the walls about the first uk bank atms.

    as far as I can see the Totfield house address was somewhere between 1960 and 1980

    getting old ,dodgy memory, it was Barclays Grimsby, not nwb .
