    Default Grasshopper lock

William Hall "Grasshopper" lock as used by Herring Safe Co. This job came my way recently where the entire lever pack assembly was missing from the lock. And of course a key. This was my first attempt at making large levers and not have samples to measure I knew it would be a challenge. After a little digging through some of my safe info on Herring safes, I found that Ed Willis had made a nice drawing of the lock. Without Ed's drawing I would still be working on the levers. I will post some more pics as soon as I can resize them.
