    Sam Kramer

    Sam is a licensed locksmith and SAVTA member, with a particular interest in safes, based in Sydney, Australia. He also has an interest in most things Chubb. He's also a machinist.

    So welcome Sam - I'm sure you will find lots here relating to your interests and also perhaps help others as well.

    No, nothing terribly exciting. A few lock related projects, of course. Some destructive openings and some repairs and such.

    Are you a machinist?

    I wouldn’t claim to be a skilled machinist but do have a few CNC mills and a laser cutter and it is wonderful how much they facilitate (and easily replicate) projects that are all but impossible traditionally…even for me!

    A few?

    I have a 3D printer and am learning CAD/CAM with that. Would love to have cnc mill...

    I remember how buying an HPC 1200 changed keycutting for me.
    A CNC mill will cost you more, but you will wonder how you ever did an all round professional job without one…. I only have 10 tonnes of CNC’s
