help needed with Slaymaker "BEST" padlock

i will take this apart later. it looks like the entrance ward has to be removed and turned,there is a stop i can see thru the opening.
i do not know yet if disassembling the whole lock is required to do this. here is what photos i have at this time

later i will take pics as i take lock apart to see what holds ward in

looks like ward only goes in one way,the side has a bulge on one side and i did not see it going in but in one was and doesnt turn
lots of pics

couple of pics did not come out but there is enough here to get the assembly of the lock
pretty simple design,the spring is under the shackle and a retainer for the plug is like the yale 805F with a screw in center of cap on top
do not know if this was modified ,spring under shackle bottom might be from other owners,
anyway lock works good but sets a little high,wonder if the spring should be like the 805f and not under shackle
if so i can make one up later and install it
