    Gerard, absolutely superb....and there i was thinking your Lips plates were exotic !
    Those are beautiful in all their different forms and a name that to this day is totally unknown to me, which, just shows how little I know of the smaller European makers, keep posting them :-)

    Well Huw, in the old day's practicly every blacksmith in Holland made his own safe for customers in their area.
    Most of them used "pump" locks, but some used also Protector locks. Same as all the plates, there was a big variaty!

    Haha that ones definitely not a typical common Chubb plate Gerard !
    Don’t collect them myself but there’s lots on here that do so you might be lucky for a swap with someone.

    Nice ones Gerrard. You’ve some lovely European plaques there. I sort of settled on collecting only British plaques because I had to draw the line somewhere or I’d end up spending my kids inheritance. I would’ve definitely swapped something for the Chubb but I managed to get one off eBay a couple of years ago. Do you have anything by Edwin Cotterill ?
