On Bruckner & Raum's website is a list of German safe manufacturers. As it is not allowed to post links you have to search yourself.

I am not sure the author of this list will be amused by copying his work.

I did a big part of the list myself and Tom gave me some more names.
Furthermore, I have not seen anything about copy rights

    1) The third line on the pages is "Copyright B&R Tresortechnik"
    2) It would not be necessary to put a copyright message on a piece of work. It is copyrighted by default in Europe.
    3) Databases are copyrighted even so each single entry might not be.
    4) It is quite rude to just copy something without even MENTIONING the author!

Gerard, I would not feel too bad about that unbelievably long list of makers. It looked more like a list of every blacksmith and locksmith that ever lived in Germany. I have a pretty good idea of the total number of safe makers here in the U.S. and a passing knowledge of English makers over the last 200 years, yet the combined number is likely fewer than in that list.

Haven't heard of the majority of them, but not seeing Garny of Frankfort. Oops just found it.

Wow that’s quite a list, only familiar with 11 of them, and actually encountered safes from only the very last 4 on your list here in the uk. Don’t mention grade V sistec’s...
