    Default LIPS of London

Hi all, this is a plaque I am having trouble finding anything about! I canít find anything on LIPS being in London other than Chubb buying the Company. Iíve now polished it and itís a beauty, but for some reason I canít get it to load. Hopefully one of you guys can tell me something?

Always liked those LIPS plates Warren, it's probably the logo which makes them that bit different.
Outside of Holland I know from memory they had factories in Brussels and Milan, but more than likely had some form of office presence in London. I have the Vince Eras book from the 1950s somewhere which might tell a bit more.

That would be good if you could Huw. I know what you mean about them being a bit different, I have a stainless steel one of the round versions and had a brass one too that I (shouldnít have) sold. Theyíre really artistically done and donít Bragg about what they can do, reputation is enough! I sort of categorised them as a non British company until I came across this one, now theyíre in with the rest.
