I have a Yale friction fence lock (LOBC, also marked Herring Hall Marvin Safe Co) with a patent-date mystery. Here is the lock and the back:

The mystery is that the wheels are stamped "PAT'D.NOV.25-05." which does not make sense. US patents are always issued on a Tuesday but November 25 of 1905 was a Saturday. November 05 of 1925 was a Thursday. I checked as application dates instead of issue dates and did not find any with "lock" in the title. Any ideas about what is going on here, or what I'm doing wrong?
