    These are the very reasons why the posting of links to other websites is discouraged and not always permitted.

    Countless hours are spent behind the scenes having to delete such links to news sites, lock manufacturer's, archive sites, collectors sites etc because the intended linked content has become unavailable, closed, fragmented, or worst of all, corrupted with malicious or objectionable material.

    Let's not forget that all this is at the expense of our host Brian's costly bandwidth, so following the simple site rules is not really a lot to ask.
