    I am looking for a key for a Yale lock case. Date 1868 to 1872.

    Thank you Doug. The numbers on the lock are 5668. Then under the numbers is the letter B or the #8. I don't know if the numbers are the lock # or cut #s

    Here is the lock Bill is looking for a key. Given the 4 digit code or cut numbers, I would say they were quite a few keys used. This is a very early flat key by Yale.
