    Here's an unusual one- a Ratner with no overlap or step on the doorplate/bolt-case

    Huw, although it looks very like a Ratner Tenacity the size doesn't look quite right. An alternative could be one of their post-war range such as a 'Y' Quality.Click image for larger version.

    Brilliant thanks safeman, it looks like the Tenacity - it's probably just camera perspective making the size look different.
    Don't think we ever encountered either of those, the door construction on the other one looks an oddball as well. Thanks for posting the pics.
