    Default Moving problem

I stumbled across this image from 1976:

Some days don't go well. While moving a safe, one of the wheels fell off the concrete and they're trying to lift it back onto the sidewalk. This looks like it might be a Corliss safe, which means it's quite heavy.

I love the "CAUTION" sign in the upper-left of the photo.

Thanks for posting that pic. Yes, that would be a Corliss. I wonder where that one is today?

The image is from https://newsok.com/gallery/articleid/3887793 which states "In this archive photo, workers move a bank vault at the Union Bank of Chandler as part of the bank's move to a new building in 1976."

I believe the "new" building is at 1001 Manvel Avenue, Chandler, Oklahoma. Now a BancFirst. I hope they kept the Corliss as a display piece.

Working around the area with Google Earth street view, this looks like the area where the photo was taken:

I did a little digging: There is an article from 2007 when it was still the Union Bank and there is a picture of the president with the safe in the background. It looks to be restored.
