Default Unknown Hobbs & Co full shackle padlock

Hi all, I recently bought a padlock on ebay that has "Hobbs & Co" stamped on it, however it is unlike any other Hobbs padlocks that I can find online.
Attached are some pictures of it, which I took.

It looks like a small Chubb Cruiser to me, it has the same proportions and ratios.

When it arrived, the weather cover on the keyhole was totally gummed up solid. I ended up having to use an adjustable spanner to move it, and even then it was a really thick, sticky, constant solid, rather than a graunchy, scratchy solid.
I ended up having to soak it in meths for 24 hours, and then gave it a gentle "encouragement" with the adjustable spanner. Finally after some "persuasion" it finally loosened up. I've given it a few drops of oil and worked it in, and it is working beautifully now.

Does anyone have any information about it, please?
I'm hoping it a genuine Hobbs as the letter stamping is very clear and correctly spelt!
