I couldn't find anything for Feb 2, 1890, which is also found on the Columbia lock key.

That date is not a Tuesday so no patents were issued.

Thanks Timothy, that's what I was looking for. One of these days I hope to obtain an actual example of this lock...

Those are going to be hard to find as I never see any of them around here where I live (CA)). My only guess have to find a very old building that to be run down. Good luck finding one....Timothy......
