    Default Wise-Lock padlock

Hello Eddie. I don't know if this is the kind of information you're seeking, but I have a little personal information about Solomon Wise. He was born in Ohio in 1892 and died in 1974 in Florida. According to the 1930 census, his occupation was listed as being a mechanical engineer working in a machine foundry.
I dug up this information when describing a Wise-Lock padlock in my book Unlocking the Portals of History through the Lock and Key Collection of Scott J. Klemm (2012).

    Thank you Scott,
This information is helpful. I obtain a great article with pictures of several locks. "The Locks Of Solomon Wise"

Id be interested in purchasing the gear drive padlock should anyone have one for sale.

    Thanks
    Eddie
