is there some photos or details on the part of safe factory who was doing the paint job ? I saw some US safes with awesome paint job !

In my opinion, the safes which have been illustrated have been invidually decorated by hand by 'coachpainters' long before spray painting, transfers or decals, at a time when all vehicles, lorries etc were hand painted, lettered, and generally embellished.

If there is no evidences or photos of fine paintwork departement in safes factory probably you are in the light
so unfortunately for me this type of art is a little bit loss and safes are a challenge to carry to the right man

There used to be some hand painted Ratners around that period. A brownish red, with black was common. It was the fashion of the time. Chatwood used to do green with gold striping.

is there anyone who can send me a good photo (hi resolution will be the best) of this old inside door ornament ? i want to add this one for my restoration project. the best i found on the web isn't enough.
