Default Curious on age of this class E small safe

Hello all. So glad to have joined this group. Looking forward to many hours learning about old safes and locks. Anyway, I just bought this yesterday for $50 on a local buy/sell site. It measures 18" x 14" tall x 15". Five sides are 1" (25mm) steel and the face and door are 1.5". I love the beefy hardware and bolt system.

I can't find any serial number list online to date it's manufacture. It uses a Diebold lock and on the body and door are stamped 1404 and a number 1 at some distance away. I would love to read your educated guesses on age and other interesting details.

I used a steel plate calculator and guessed on the lock system and hardware, and arrived at around 430 pounds, or just about 200 kilos. It was no fun to move with just two people.
