    Default help identifying a lock

    Hi all, found this lock in an old house and have NO idea what it could be. I know you detectives can tell me just what it is and how old it may be. Thanks!

    the tiles that the lock is on are 12 inches and there is no mark of any kind on the lock or the key

    Hello HudsonHawk, they are generally called Gate Locks your side of the pond and Bar Padlocks over here. Yours looks a nice one.
