    Here Picture of Van Padlock as still in business in Cincinnati Ohio. As least give an idea of padlock we are talking about.....Timothy......

    Saijinte, could you post some extra pictures to clearly show the back of the padlock, the pins on the working face of the key, and the shackle when removed from the body please.

    Here another Patent number 1718130 almost same as Gordios Lock. The only thing funny about it whatever to call it Tumble lock or Combination Lock. I believe should be Tumble Lock....Timothy.....

    Nice one Timothy, theres some real interesting info there, 1920's Berlin too, it could well prove quite a significant find.

    That number must be a typo, when I search it at USPTO it shows me a 'Horse Hay Rake'.
