    Default Antique French Locks

Not sure if I should post here. Recently I was gifted some junk from Harry Millers collection. Well some might call it junk. It was stuff that was either incomplete or just not considered worthy of display. Turns out there is some interesting stuff here. Most of it appears to be French from the latter 1800's and early 1900's based on the widespread use of discrete dials used ranging from 3,4 and 5 dials, some with additional keylocks. I just started to go through these 20 some locks looking for names and markings finding almost nothing to ID them. Except one with Fichet on it. Several years ago when I was posting pictures on the forum it was always a struggle for me. Slowly I will take pics of each lock but I was wondering if I could email groups of pictures to someone to post them for me. The first one is actually a Bramah Chubb barrel lock probably German. I am trying to convince myself to make a key for it.

    Hello Doug,
Suggest that if you forward pictures to Brian Morland he would upload them to the forum and include in your post.
    Keep smiling!
    Syd.
