    Default the Joseph Bramah

    Saw this and thought I would share, took me by surprise and nice to see lock heroes being recognized, Isle of man as the milners tower and loads of Milners street names, this was in barnsley ,feel free to share any others you know of.

    He certainly is a worthy hero and great to see a pub in his name but I bet it's his other inventions that will have got his name on there like the hydraulic press, toilet flush valve and of course, most apt of all, his hydraulic beer pumping system.
    Amazing that we should think of him every time we have a draught pint in any pub really, as without him the beer wouldn't be going anywhere from the kegs down in the cellar- now that's gotta be worth celebrating with a pint...or three.!
