    Found this on eBay. Just wondered if anyone has any information on how it works..??..Timothy....

    The title of this listing is very misleading. The key was used by a watchman as part of a watchclock system. A watchclock allows the patrolman to insert their key to punch a paper with their key's "unique signature". In England, they were also used to ensure train schedules were followed by marking when the engineers departed each station.

    I knew there was no way it'd be used as a prison guard key. That's why I was waiting to see if someone would come up with an answer. So the collection made a mistake of what it's really supposed to be. Thanks for the heads up .....Timothy....
