    Default New locksmith!

Hi I'm Larry! I came here looking for a way to open an old steamer trunk that showed up in the shop this week. The lock was pretty stiff, and the keys were locked inside. With picks not really being strong enough to move the lever, I had to find other options. After a bit of google-fu, I discovered the key silhouette was in a 100 year old book called "Majestic Trunk Key Book, Vol 1.
This eventually lead me here, where was someone was nice enough to post the exact page I needed! Now the trunk is open and the client happy. I'm going to post some pictures and a video of the trunk and lock mechanism when I find the appropriate place.

Not quite 100 years old Larry, Volume 1 was (c)1933, while Volume 2 was (c)1951. Both were compiled by the late Bernard Zion, a legendary locksmith in New York City.
