Default Mosler & Bahmann safe / lock

I have an old safe that my grandfather gave me. I'm missing a piece for the locking mechanism. I believe the lock is a Mosler & Bahman according to the dial. I found a picture of a lock that is exactly like mine. My lock is missing the small brass piece (that looks like a dogs leg) with a screw thru it. See attached picture. Where would I be able to get this small piece?
The handle on the safe has a number 48443. The dial shaft has the number 7758 and the internal lock has the number 7758 stamped on it. Any information would help me.
    thanks.
