Default Master Lock 4 wheel combination padlock

I have a Master padlock which normally works fine. The problem, now, is that the temperature is dropping to around -8 and will get colder. The lock has started to freeze up.

Does anybody have any suggestions what I can do to stop this from happening?

If it is outside the problem is likely water entering via the shackle holes and then freezing. That particular lock was not designed for exterior use. Heat it and apply a little WD-40 to displace the water. That should work for a while but not permanent.
