    Default Royal warrants

Hi, everyone.... two safe plaques one large and one small. The large plaque has an oval shield in the middle and the smaller a diamond shaped shield! Is there any significance and if so what? I tried looking on the internet but all I could find were pages and pages of info about heraldry and none give a quick explanation that I could find.

The diamond, more often called a lozenge, is a device that has often been used to depict arms of females.

Both of these arms are royal arms, post 1837. As Queen Elizabeth II has never used a lozenge to my knowledge, they would depict the Royal Arms of Queen Victoria post 1837 when the arms changed after her ascension.
