    Lightbulb J.h.w. Climax lock co.

How collectible are early Climax Brass Padlocks? I have read some Forum entries that seem to indicate they are not too collectible? Why are they not so desirable? Are they considered "cheap made" or are there just so many available, not too secure in their day?
I know very little about the company except they began business in the early 1800's - Can anyone shed some new light on this company and their products? Thanks, Gary

    Question Climax Locks

Thanks, I think the publications you refer to will help provide useful information on early Climax locks. How can I establish a current value for these early locks? Gary
