Default Halls Safe - Need to Change Combination

Hello All - I've got a Halls safe that I used to have the combination to but it is long lost. Luckily I've not closed the door in years so I'm hoping there's some way to change the combination to make it useful again. I'm no lock expert so I'm hoping for some suggestions from a few of you with a little more experience with these type of situations.

I came across this: http://library.duke.edu/digitalcolle...es_bdsny81557/ though mine is a 1906 model so I'm pretty sure this technique wouldn't work on it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

That's how it's done. If you need help, contact me. We appear to be in the same area.

We are indeed from the same area. Have you ever changed one before? If so I may very well be interested in retaining your services. I'd rather have someone do it that's familiar with the technique.
