    Default Tann sales 'token' ?

Got this and a few other safe curios off e-bay. Believe it is some form of sale token given out at exhibitions or sales venues, better than a keyring or pen, just wondered if anyone else has seen such a thing.

Yes, Safeone, they turn up from time to time. They made sure that there would be no confusion with the address of John Tann who incidentally also had a 5 Guinea safe which was almost identical but I don't know who copied who.

I eventually found an illustration of John Tann's 5 Guinea safe but you'll have to look pretty hard
to find it - extreme lower left.

ID:	15830 Towards the right is an intersting specimen - it's a Boudoir version of their Jewel Quality safe with stand.

    Approximate date 1900.

Love the detail, they even put the serial number detail on the end of the bolt!

Some interesting replies to the little 'token' find. Thanks to the contributors
