Searching for any info on this padlock.
Found this padlock 5 years ago. Don't know anything about it. Just looking for some background info on it. I live in Melbourne Australia.

Not sure but look up Bombay is seaport in and capital of Maharashtra W. India. It could very will be make from India.....

Aligarh is well known for manufacturing locks, typically large ones, and often copies of existing specimens of valuable ones. Could have been made years ago or yesterday. Usually they are decorative at best. The unusual thing about this one is that it actually has the name "Aligarh" on it.
