    Default Hello from Texas

We purchased an old Sargent and Greenleaf safe which was opened last about 3 years ago. We have the combination but as much as we have tried can't get it to open. We would very much appreciate any guidance you might have in getting it open.

In the hope that you have the right combination but not the correct sequence, and assuming it's a typical 3-wheel S&G lock, this might help:

Also try http://www.sargentandgreenleaf.com/t...ype=mechanical and click on "dialing video" for the 6700 series.

And a minor correction: S&G has always made locks but to my knowledge they never made safes. But their locks are quite common on safes made by many different companies.
