    Default Austrian Padlock---Is it a oringal key?

    Hello All,I have a large Austrian Padlock ---F. WERTHEIM & Co WIEN The padlock's number is 159467.
    The key's numbers: 125H on the bow, 125 on the bit .
    Is it a oringal key?

    Difficult to be 100% certain Saijinte but probably not an original key. Although it has aged similar to the padlock, I'd expect Wertheim's own keys to be marked with their name. Also, the 125 and 125H on the key have been stamped quite roughly, the stamps being slightly oversize for the oval of the key bow.
    Nice padlock though!

    I would also like to see the Wertheim's own keys to be marked with their name.

    I was bidding on this piece. I do not believe the key is original. Shackle is unique, first one I have seen like this..

    You're from China! This explains the realized price on this piece... I can't afford the passion you guys have for padlocks!!
