    Default Old unknown lock

I'll be up front I am not a collector but I did find this old lock at what was once an old rail station. I've searched hundreds of photos of locks on the internet and now have turned to your forum to see if anyone has information on this lock. I soaked this lock in vinegar with some salt in it and cleaned it up. Any help that may be given would be appreciated. Thank you...GeorgeAttachment 14935

They're called smokehouse padlocks. Some examples of them here. http://www.antique-padlocks.com/smoke.htm
