    Default Bramah Key?

    Two piece construction 9 slot I have safe. Any Ideas as to whether or not this is a bramah?

    Bramah type for sure, as for made by Bramah in London - almost certainly not.

    Several US makers copied the Bramah mechanism. Do you have the safe / lock ?

    Yes I do. I know it is pre 1929... It was my grandmothers I have lock mechanism out of safe... it has two groved circles around cylinder.. and has bent metal pieces as the tumblers? will try to upload pics..... will take apart and show you internals... dont want to mess up so any advise prior to me doin this will be appreciated..
