Default What do these numbers mean ?

Hi there. I have a Hobbs & Co safe which I plan to restore. ( Its not a Hobbs Hart )
Stamped on the main body of the safe are a series of numbers and I wondered what they are.
    210 90
Does this relate to the weight of the safe which I have seen before or is it a serial number?

    Cheers

If it is the serial number it relates to a product made in 1898.

If you can attach photographs I might be able to identify the quality from the catalogue.

I would say serial number. If you had the original key it should have been stamped on it's bow too.
