    Default Hobbs and Co

Hi there. I have a Hobbs & Co safe which I plan to restore. ( Its not a Hobbs Hart )
Stamped on the main body of the safe are a series of numbers and I wondered what they are.
    210 90
Does this relate to the weight of the safe which I have seen before or is it a serial number?

    Cheers

Hobbs Hart was formed in 1866 but most of their catalogues and locks just bore the name Hobbs & Co.
The number 21090 as a serial number relates to 1899 and depending on the size of the safe is unlikely to be the weight.
