Default Help finding combination for JBMKL Miller Master Special Lock

Hey I just picked up a JBMKL Master Special at a flea market.
Dial stops when turned all the way to the right. Code on shackle is CC 183 any help with possible combinations would be appreciated. Also when were these locks made?
    thanks Jpo

The company was founded in 1888. The earliest mention of the Master Special seems to be around 1929. By 1933 they started marketing the "Red Dot" and dropped the Master Special.

Pictures of your lock might help a bit. See http://www.antique-locks.com/showthr...-to-your-posts

Thanks for the photos. I'm confident in guessing 1929-1933 for date. Now, I notice there is another number on the underside of the shackle. That is probably the combination code, what is that number?

Wylk, lock is open! Thanks for your help. I'm sure it's been quite a while since this lock has been opened but it works as smooth as ever. That says a lot about the excellent craftsmanship that went into the design of these locks. I'm happy to include this small piece of history in my collection. Thanks again for your prompt response.
